From Brew to Beauty: RISE & WIN Brewing Co. and STUDIO PREPA Transform Beer Bottles into Art
Prepare to embark on a journey where creativity meets sustainability, and ordinary beer bottles transform into extraordinary works of art. RISE & WIN Brewing Co. proudly announces its groundbreaking collaboration with STUDIO PREPA, a renowned glassblowing studio nestled in the picturesque landscapes of Nagano Prefecture. Together, these two innovators are on a mission to redefine recycling by turning used KAMIKATZ beer bottles into captivating tableware and decorative displays. This isn't just a collaboration; it's a celebration of ingenuity, craftsmanship, and a shared commitment to environmental stewardship.
The town of Kamikatsu has long been a beacon of environmental responsibility, leading the charge towards a zero-waste future since 2003. With an impressive recycling rate exceeding 80%, Kamikatsu stands as a shining example of sustainable living in Japan. It is within this eco-conscious community that RISE & WIN Brewing Co. has flourished, crafting beers that reflect the spirit of the town while championing sustainable production practices. Now, in collaboration with STUDIO PREPA, RISE & WIN is taking its commitment to sustainability to new heights by repurposing its glass beer bottles into artistic pieces.
RISE & WIN produces approximately 80 kiloliters of beer annually, resulting in around 100,000 glass bottles. Traditionally, these bottles are recycled into raw materials for various applications. However, the collaboration between RISE & WIN and STUDIO PREPA offers a unique twist on recycling, transforming discarded bottles into items that seamlessly integrate into people's daily lives. Through the skilled craftsmanship and artistic vision of STUDIO PREPA, each repurposed bottle becomes a testament to creativity, sustainability, and the inherent beauty of repurposed materials.
The collaboration's culmination will be showcased at the RISE & WIN Kamikatsu store from December 5, 2023, to January 31, 2024. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience firsthand the fusion of innovation and artistry as they explore the exhibition of repurposed beer bottle creations.
